At a really young age. I am obsessed with the idea of fantasy world, especially the story Alice in the wonderland and the little mermaid. In this draft, I want to show my memories and images that I have created in my head through all these years .
The lightbulb in the drawing shows the issue of dense buildings and packed environment that I use to live in HK. This has always been a social issue and I hope to deliver this problem though drawings. As the leaves drawn outside the lightbulb show that we don't really contact with the nature, we are all basically being trapped inside
Final work
The mermaid in the drawing represents my imaginary mind. I am always creating illusions and unrealistic ideas and the vending machines is somehow the reality, a man made machine which limits my creativity, a barrier which traps me The breaking glass is a breakthrough and the leaves are my growing creation.
